Youth Music

Jordan Saul is pleased to join the musical world of Newtown Presbyterian Church as our new Youth Music Director.  She is currently in her first year of graduate study at Westminster Choir College, where she is studying choral conducting.  Before moving to New Jersey, Jordan taught high school choir and music theory at Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Arizona from 2007-2011. She received her Bachelors from the University of Arizona.  Jordan enjoys playing the piano and various percussion instruments, but it is the communal musical experience that is her deepest joy.

Jordan will support and create the following programs:

  • Middle/High School bell choir
  • Middle/High School vocal choir
  • Support and oversee elementary and pre-k music

It is our goal as musicians, pastors and leaders of this church, to provide opportunities for our youth to learn and grow in their faith.  Music is a big part of that journey.  Through singing in the Sunday School choir or participating in one of our more formal youth music ensembles, we are here to nurture and support the children and families of this congregation.

If you have questions about our youth music program, please contact the church office.

NPC Children and Youth Choirs

During the Sunday School program, three and four year olds sing in their Sunday School classrooms at 9:00 a.m. and Kindergarten through sixth graders sing from 8:50 a.m. – 9:05 a.m. during the gathering time in Ettenger Hall. The Youth Choir practices at 10:00 a.m. in room 213 Sunday mornings.
