2011 – 2012 Youth Groups

Our Youth Groups meet every Sunday at 5:00pm for fun, fellowship, food, devotionals, outings, bible study, games, service projects and other activities.

Youth in grades 6 through 8 meet with Pastor Wonjae, while those in the 9th through 12th grades meet with Pastor Blake.

CONFIRMATION CLASS. Through Confirmation Class, the church nurtures baptized children and invites them to make public their personal profession of faith and their acceptance of responsibility in the life of the church. When ready, they are examined by the session, received as active members, and presented to the congregation during a service of public worship.  Confirmation Class also serves as the membership class for non-baptized students who will be baptized on Confirmation Sunday, and is available to all those in 8th grade and older.

Confirmation Class of 2012

     Parents of youth 8th grade and up who would like to register their students for confirmation, please e-mail revwonjae@newtownpres.org.

Classes are scheduled from Noon—2pm on April 15, 22, 29 and May 6, 2012. An overnight retreat has been scheduled for April 27—28th which will be held at Broad Street Ministries in Center City.

The Confirmation Class will be examined before Session on Tuesday June 5th at 7pm in    Ettenger Hall and the class will be presented before the congregation on Sunday June 10th at the 9am service at the Historic Church on Sycamore Street.

For students who have not been baptized, this class will serve as their membership class and will be baptized on Confirmation Sunday with their classmates. If you have any questions or concerns or need more information, please contact revwonjae@newtownpres.org.
