Sunday School

Sunday School at newtown-presbyterian-church (NPC) occurs on Sunday mornings during the school year.

Schedule & Flow

• Start: Children (except Nursery/Toddlers) begin in the Sanctuary with their families.
• Transition: Head to the Sunday School wing after the Time With Children segment.
• Dismissal: Parents pick up children from classrooms after worship.

Classes & Locations

• Nursery / Toddler / PreK: Meets in the Nursery.
• Kindergarten – 6th Grade: Meets in CE Wing Room 208 or the Art Room (2nd floor, Office building).
• Grades 7 & 8 (Confirmation): Meets the second Sunday of every month in Room 211 or B1 (lower level).

Curriculum

NPC utilizes the SparkHouse Lectionary Curriculum. Children explore the same Scripture and lesson preached on in worship, engaging through art, music, storytelling, and science.

Volunteering

Adult volunteers serve as teachers, assistants, nursery babysitters, chaperones, and committee members. Contact Pastor Laura (laura@newtownpres.org) to help.
